the owners were a lovely couple, and their family farm provided stunning views and easy access to Kielder National Park. the cottage itself was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including ironing facilities, heating, and a washing machine. the kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. One thing to note is that the property is quite remote, so be sure to pick up groceries on your way as the nearest supermarket is a 30-45 minute drive away. the tranquil location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the Alpacas on the farm were a delightful addition to the rural charm. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this cottage. the value proposition was excellent, considering the amenities provided and the peaceful setting. the only downside was the distance to the nearest supermarket, but if you're looking for a quiet retreat in Northumbria, this cottage is a great choice.
